My lindsey doll has some stains on her legs and they are VERY loose. Would you send her in for a wellness visit or send her in for new limbs or a new body (does that include limbs?

When you send a doll in for new limbs is it $25 per limb or all of them?

Thanks,
Tracy

When I called and asked $25 was for all the limbs.

I would get her new limbs unless you are really attached to this particular doll and want the same limbs.

I think most board members have said everything done at a wellness visit can be done at home.

Tightening limbs is done at the wellness visits but I don't think I could do that. Has anyone done this before?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I've restrung seven or eight of my dolls. Once the elastic starts to weaken, there is very little that can be done short of restringing the doll as the "active" piece of elastic is less than an inch long.

how do you restring limbs? My Felicity's legs are kind of loose... and she is almost an inch shorter than Susie (with both of them barefoot- hmmm...oh well)

Look on the justmagicdolls.com site for instructions on re-stringing. It's great!

I can also re-string dolls for anyone who doesn't want to do their own--(I can't charge very much less than AG, but I have a very quick turn-around time!)--just PM me if you're interested!

P.S. Kitgirl, try Oxy10 on the stains--put her under a lamp for a day or so, and repeat until the stains are gone. Good luck!
